Day 16 - Adieu chères montagnes Montana

I don't want to leave this place!!  I swear,  I don't know another part of the world that owns a part of my heart like this part of it does.  The Montana mountains....  Maybe I was a gold prospector in an earlier life.  Or perhaps I was a Chippewa warrior whose blood was spilled here in this land.  Whatever it is,  I love coming here and hate leaving here.  Today we pick-up and continue or journey west.  After a nice conversation with our camping friends from northern Ontario who are heading to Sturgis,  we pack up,  grab some breakfast at the canteen up the hill and make our way to Missoula.  It's interstate riding (boo) but it is still very scenic and fast.  We pull into Missoula early enough to have both bikes serviced at "Grizzly Harley Davidson"  (hell,  with a name like that,  even if your bike didn't need servicing you'd have to stop by just for a t-shirt!).  Then it's home to our hotel,  dinner across the street and boom,  the lights are out!
Tomorrow is a bit of an open day.  We want to be in Portland Monday but are not in a great hurry.  Perhaps we will check-out Missoula as I've never been here before.  But it is suppose to rain so maybe just get on Highway 12 and see what Idaho has to offer.  Coffee tomorrow morning is when the decision needs to be made.  For now I am just going to enjoy my last few hours in Montana.
