Thousands of acres of corn and soybean, we rode through Kentucky and Illinois, wrapping up in St Louis. It always amazes me how fertile this country is with agriculture almost everywhere in the heart lands. Beautiful quaint little towns and people who waved at you as you passed by. We then pulled into St Louis, u loaded our stuff in the hotel room and then headed for the arch. The "Jefferson National Expansion Memorial" is even more beautiful up close. Rode up to the top ND check ked out the amazing courthouse across the street. Can you say Tourist! Fun.
If ya'll were in one of the pods .. pretty cozy. Kinda feels like you are back in time accessing a Cold War bunker. It's remarkable that the entire transportation system to the top is still functioning.
